| I think Putnam should do what it takes to get up the car counts. They changed stuff in the pures to make it work so the NFS guys can run so why not work on the other classes too. More cars does mean more fans. The biggest thing is we have been seeing more cars from NFS than anywhere else. If they are going to make changes they need to do asap. I just hope clearence sticks to his word and takes us pure stocks off the stupid 10" RF. I guess we'll see how things go. | |

Last years point's champ, Martin Johnson, 2006 champ Mark Kinley, Richard Adams, Ricky Cooper, Mike Mcgauley, Chris Manucey, Derrick Hullett, Mike Haney, (who will go to Volusia next week), Lisa OcOnnor, Jared Cooper, Chad Scranton, and Stanton Mills/Joey Hasselaur (who Builds winning motors for cars at our track), quote]
And just how many of those people have you seen there in the past year? Like 2!...Martin says he will be at PCS this weekend, and he has agreed before that PCS needs to update their rule book. That was decided last year when the drivers got to vote on the rule book. But when Marc Kinley came in trying to change all the rules to meet VSP's rules, look how many drivers ended up leaving because of it. Let alone Marc Kinley ditching the place himself. I might be a woman, but even I know that the rules that work for a 1/2 mile track will not work for a 3/8 mile track. NFS made a VERY good decision in following East Bay's rule book. They will have a good turn out this year. Putnam has hardly ever pulled cars from VSP. I've seen more NFS and East Bay cars at PCS these past couple weeks than I have from anywhere. Clarence is a smart guy and I'm sure he will do the right thing. But until then, I don't think b!tching about things is going to change anything.
Jennifer Ya know I find it amusing that we go from talking about the rules and what needs to be done to bashing a driver who we all know from the past years that you obviously must have issues with. More amusing though is a couple weeks ago when "Marc Kinley" was at PCS racing we saw you go in his trailer. LOL - We were sure it wasn't a social call rather being nosey as usual. The drivers that are not running up there right now isn't because of rules etc. it is because of the track condition. Several drivers have told Clarence and the crew they weren't coming back until the track was in better condition. They got tired of tearing up their cars. Rules need to be set in place and have the classes run in their respective rule class not mix Sportsmans with Late Models or Hobbys and Sportsmans. What kind of pleasure can you get out of a win when you know you have more of a car than the class your running in but then agan I guess some people need to take what they can get since they can't do it anywhere else.

| Fanatic, can you please tell me WHERE I bashed a driver? Please name ONE THING I said that WAS NOT true. Were you standing there when all 7 Sportsman drivers met up at PCS at the beginning of last year to figure out one set of rules? I take it you weren't. But I was. And I know what rules were set because I am the one that sat there with my Laptop and typed the rules up as the drivers told me what they wanted. Now Lisa O'Conner brought her NFS rule book, we all huddled around, and the guys and Lisa came up with what they wanted to run. Marc Kinley got called into the office with Clarence and before he left, his exact words were "Whatever you all decide is fine with me." So, the came up with the rules, I typed them up, we brought them to Clarence, he agreed. The following week, we all come back to the track, expecting to race because all of our cars were set to the rules that the drivers had just set the week before. Then Marc Kinley hands over a printed out set of rules that was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT then what they decided on the week before. NEVER ONCE did he take it up with any of the other Sportsman drivers. Therefore, 4 of the drivers that met in that group, including my hubby, loaded their cars back on the trailer and left. Halfway through the season, for WHATEVER REASON, it's non of my concern, Marc Kinley decided he would be happier racing at Volusia. So he packed ship and headed to Volusia for the rest of the season. Now where did I bash him? Marc Kinley is a nice guy and I have no problem with him, other than I still hold a grudge for how he drove Timmy into the wall 3 years ago. And ya know, I'll always hold that grudge, but I'd never bash him for it. I walked into his trailer with my sister in law to congratulate him on being a soon to be father, and so that he could meet my son, who will be his child's competitor on the race track in many years to come! Therefore, please don't jump to conclusions. Jennifer | |

Because, that persons smart attitude towards me has been going on for the past couple years. And for whatever reason, I could care less. I've never met him/her and never done a damn thing to them. It's probably Timmy's ex wife. I'd be jealous too! LOL
