2009 BANQUET

OK, JUST TO INFORM EVERYONE, THE BANQUET HAS BEEN POSTPONED. THERE IS STILL GOING TO BE A BANQUET. IT WAS MY SUGGESTION TO POSTPONE THE BANQUET UNTIL JANUARY. THAT WILL GIVE EVERYONE A CHANCE TO GET THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS, AND US A LITTLE MORE TIME TO BETTER PLAN. I CAN ALSO LET YOU KNOW THAT I ORDERED THE TROPHIES TODAY. (Tuesday)

Gee - Clarence said he ordered the trophies the other day - which of you is telling the truth? And, you want people to buy tickets to a banquet without a date? Uh huh.......you must be taking lessons from our politicians. The fact is half of the 50/50 money was to go towards a banquet. There should have been plenty of money in there. It's gone. Where is it? All this complaining about Lori and Shawn putting on a banquet because they were told by CLARENCE that there was NO money for trophies or a banquet is a riot. Sponsors paid for the trophies presented at the banquet - food was paid for by sponsors - door prizes were donated by sponsors. There was a lot of hard work and footwork done to make that banquet a success - and make no mistake - it was a success. So successful that it was free to racers and their families. YOU could have been there - YOU chose not to - so don't bitch about what you missed.
