| I spoke with Clarance last night, he will not be putting on a banquet. He has said we can use the track for one if we would like to put one together. I have a few ideas for catering if anyone is interested in either putting one together or attending one. I dont think it would be expensive to have it catered. That is just an idea, there are certainly other options if interested. Honestly, doesnt matter to me. Yes I would like to see the top three in each class get their trophies in a manner that is appropriate(handed to them at a banquet in front of everyone) but regardless of whether there is a banquet or not the bombers have trophies coming next week. | |

| I have to say something here - like it or not. These racers - all of them good, clean racers - dedicated an entire season to Putnam County Speedway. After a certain amount of races, they are even more dedicated because they're racing for points - and an end of the year trophy. These same racers came out in force at the beginning of the season and offered their time and money and talents to spruce up Putnam County Speedway, feeling that it was their home track and they wanted to be proud. Any of them could have raced all year at Volusia or Orcala and been treated with more respect. All year long you could watch the crowds disappear a little at a time. But to collect money for the 50/50, supposedly dedicating half of it to an end of year banquet and trophies and then to announce there's no money for a banquet or trophies makes me wonder what the hell happened to the money? I'm pissed - these racers did more than their share and come out with what?????? For what it's worth racers, you have my total respect for a great year of racing - entertainment and being able to get to know a lot of you. | |

| John and Mom of Beavis I guess we need to think of the positive we can take away from this experience, we made some friends. I know Shawn and I have been fortunate to make some good friends out there and that is worth more than a trophy and banquet(but they would have been nice to have)!!!! Lets hope things change for next season(except the friends part lol) and this time next year the track will be in great shape, the bathrooms will have toilet paper, paper towels, soap and functioning doors with locks and dare I say it funds for a banquet and trophies??? | |

| Like I said I had a good time out there. I also made a lot of good friends, you and Shawn being some. I have looked at the positive as much as possible all year, but all the negative has caught up and there is too much to ignore. I don't regret racing there because I still had a great time and met a lot of great people but I do hate how we are all being done. I hope PCS does see bigger and better things for next year and we all know the only way we will see that......... I'll leave that alone since I don't even have to go there. | |

| John114 - I respect the drivers and workers at PCS. I've seen some great racing - good sportsmanship - tiffs and spats forgotten and people moving on in the name of the sport.......and yes there are a lot of friendships formed that will last forever. That's the way it should be - and that part of the track was right. YOU racers did what you were supposed to do and beyond. I just get angry at the way you were treated - particularly since you supplied an income for someone who owed you a ton more respect. And, I will add - that when going to another track like Ocala - it's even more fun to see the racers from Putnam give them a run for their money - and many times win! Thanks to each and everyone of the drivers for an exciting year. | |
