| I am wondering what people would think of a new class at PCS...It would be an entry level class...We ran these back home and had a good turnout on them...plus you always get at least 2 pit fees per car because there are 2 drivers....lol...Just a quick rundown: Front wheel drive 4-cylinder automatics with 2 driver...the one on the left controls the steering and brakes...the one on the right has the gas.... I am just trying to think of ways to get more cars and this is fairly cheap tp get into plus it brings in twice the drivers and possibly twice the fans....lol....I can maybe get a copy of the pay they got but i know it wasnt much......i believe it was less than the bombers get paid here.... Here is a copy of the rules they ran: 2007 ROAD HOG CLASS RULESIf you don’t see it in print, don’t do it!! 1. Any compact American made front wheel drive car with a 4 cyl motor. Call the tech inspector for clarification if in doubt.
Cars are also subject to, or are required to comply with the General Rules of Buffalo River Speedway as published.
Car Owners, Drivers & Crew personnel are advised that Buffalo River Speedway (BRS) does not ensure that competing cars comply with all documented rules on a week-to-week basis or at the time they are technically inspected. It is up to the individual competing the car (Owner/Driver) to comply with the rules as written. A technical inspection does not constitute that a car is in compliance with all documented rules.
Rules, components or procedures specifically not mentioned as being allowed are “ILLEGAL” unless approved by BRS. Teams that have any doubts or questions with regards to the legality of using any new product, procedure or an undocumented component need to contact a BRS official for clarification on use with regard to a specific class. If an individual needs assistance in determining if his car complies with a specific rule, then he should contact Curt Schmidt for an appointment in order to determine if the car complies with a specific rule. BRS reserves the right to modify the rules at any time to keep all manufacturers brands competitive (i.e. GM, Ford, & MOPAR).
No express or implied warranty of safety shall result from compliance with these rules & regulations. The rules are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport & in no way are a guarantee against injury or death to participants, spectators, or others. If a car is found noncompliant with existing rules under a protest situation they will be penalized accordingly. Reminder - All cars must be technically inspected before allowed to race. Racing can be dangerous and it is the driver’s responsibility to inspect the track surface and facility prior to entering a race. If the driver feels there are any unsafe conditions that he feels may put him at risk he should not compete. The driver should document concerns in writing and submit them to the BRS office for review. |

| What PCS needs, is more cars in the classes that they have instead of another class to worry about. Thats just my opinion. Plus another 4cyl. class will just be more for everyone to complain about tearing up the track. | |
