He was rounding turn one and the truck went over. Just my opinion, if they are going to allow trucks to run, some kind of modifications need to made to make them less top heavy. Trucks are just easier to put on their roof.

first of all we asked if we could lower the truck and we were told no.bottom line is it was our decision to run the truck, that is not the problem. the bottom line is no safety/equipt personel there. i will get to the bottom of it.first of all john 114 was you about the 10 people that was in the stands or are you listening to here say!

I kinda figured it had to do with that hole in turn 1.

We had a class of "mini trucks" for a few years that never had flipping problems.....not sure on what modifications they made....but i think that hole is a big problem at PCS.

i'm not blaming the track for him flipping. i'm blaming the track for not having proper equipt safety personal.

i thank fire pepole should have been there Seconds in racing means a difference between 1st and 5th, seconds in a injury could mean life or death. Look at Volusia and the bad wreck they had this year on the last lap, that racer might not have made it without proper safety equipment and crew being on hand.

when he set the truck going into the turn he turned back right to counter steer the ass end and the truck had it a small whole in turn one not even a big hole it was so soft the when it hit it the right front tire stuck and sent the truck end over and that how he said it happend



yes whent back swelling stilll there but no proceding to swell anymore he has minor headaces still but he is doing fine

I was there right in turn 1. I saw the truck go over but Jim would know better than anyone what made it happen. I wasn't trying to say anything towards him or you proud momma. I was just saying tey should have let him or made him lower the truck down so it wouldn't go over so easy. All that really matters is he is OK. I'm sorry if my post came across wrong I wasn't trying to sound negative by no means. GOOD LUCK JIM HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL FOR YOU.

Thanks for sharing that with us. I guess those who are conspiring to bring Putnam down will have to dig up some other fodder.

i flipped my truck in the same turn a year or so ago because trucks to me seem 2 top heavy. now im gonna stick with the cars. im glad jims doing ok..

same here no more trucks for us were building a car now
