Prayers for Budracing(Mikey Lane)

As some of you may or may not know Mikey,911 in the bombers is going through a tough time right now. He will be having surgery next Friday to have a tumor removed. At this point it is not known if it is cancerous or not. They will not know that until they remove the tumor and send it away for testing. He will be in the hospital for 2-3 days after the surgery. Once he is home he can not lift anything over ten pounds for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. The doctors will basically be cutting his chest open to remove this tumor so he will need some time to heal Unfortunately, he wont be able to work at this time. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as it will be a very trying time both physically and financially. Either Shawn or I will keep everyone posted.

Mikey will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning at 8 Please keep him and his family in your prayers and thoughts until he has recovered. Either Shawn or I will post any updates on the website as we get them. Also, Mikey has been out of work since last Tuesday. He will remain out of work for atleast 8 weeks after his surgery. I know times are tough for many of us right now but I would like to collect any donations that people are willing to help with. Shawn has also thought about talking to Clarance about doing something at the track to collect donations. Thanks for all of your support and prayers.

Shawn talked to Clarance and he said we can do a pass the helmet around for Mikey on Saturday. At some point that night he will call drivers to walk around with their helmets. Thanks and see you all Saturday

Just got a call from the hospital and Mike is out of surgery and everything went good.. He was talking a bit.. More updates when the wife gets home.. We will keep you updated...

I just got home from the hospital and wanted to update everyone. Mikeys surgery went well. He will be in a regular room sometime tomorrow. It should be expected that he will be sleeping off and on the rest of the day. Oh the best part, the tumor was BENIGN!!!! What a relief. If anyone is going to see him tonight he is on the second floor in the open heart recovery room. Michelle will be camped out in the surgical waiting room across from there.
