| Please, Flagman or flagman in training help me understand why you would make the call to put someone to the back that doesnt cause crashes, isnt an aggressive driver just for making contact with another driver????? First, the 911 and 97(11 tonight) are teammates(Hence the Team Beavis and Budracing logos they both wear on their shirts) so there was NOTHING intentional on the part of the 11,Beavis. Making contact between two drivers is part of racing, I think we can all agree on that. What isnt part of racing is sending a driver to the rear for non aggressive racing. The 911 got sideways in every turn the 11 had no choice but to 'make contact' with when getting around the car. So PCS officials say that behavior warrants sending one of cleanest drivers to the back??????? I am not on here making a fuss because its Shawn, my husband I am raising cane because whats right is right Things need to be fair. I am not sure why the call was made but I do know it was one of the unfair calls EVER!!!!!!! Was the call made because the 11 was on fire tonight and someone decided thats not the car that should win? I wouldnt want to think that the officials are as crooked as others say they are and really do have favorites around there!!! I for the life of me just cant think of why that call would be made... I know its too late now, race is over cant do anything about it,blah blah blah but people still need to know that the call made against the 11 tonight in the bombers was not only wrong but down right assinine. | |

| I agree that Shawn should not have been put to the back....I think it was a racing incident and they should have just reset the field. I do know that some tracks have a rule protecting the leader where even if the leader is sideways any cantact made to him puts the other driver to the back....not sure if PCS has that rule....or any rules that are followed...but I think mike should have kept the lead and shawn should have been in 2nd...Those 2 were putting on one hell of a good show.... | |

| This is what it says in the rules...
6. Any contact between two cars and one of them loses control both cars will go to the rear if the caution comes out.
But what about when the car that got spun was already getting loose and slowed down? What do they expect everyone to do come to a stop when you have the rest of the cars coming right behind you? When I made contact with him (which was very little) he was already getting loose | |

| This is my opinion and observation on things, as I am not familiar with the rules of the track, but I see racers ALL the time get into another car and cause a caution, and they reset the field to the order it was before the caution. Now to me I never understood that, because its racing....if you lose your position due to a spin out or hitting one of those big tires, etc....why do you get put back in the same position as you were? I mean, isnt that what racing is all about? Again, in my opinion, if the rules state as above, then this should always be put in place. I think that is where the conflict comes from, when its not done most of the time and then out of the blue, a rule is executed. Just going by what I see out there, I am not a racer. | |

| What can you expect when you have a 16 year old "official" that is untrained and uneducated in racing rules and regulations - particularly those that are applicable to that specific track. How about getting rid of the kid and putting in a trained adult official like other tracks use? Otherwise, I have a couple of pets that are looking for work - maybe you could use them too. How can you expect anyone to think of the races at PCS credible if a 16 year old can get away with bad decisions like the one last night????? PCS is becoming laughable. | |

| How about hearing from the driver of the 911 car on here? Surely he knows that last night's decision was a bad call - what does he have to say? | |

| I dont think the 911 blames the 11 for last nights contact. In fact, I think pretty much everyone that was there watching the races last night knows that it wasnt the 11's fault at all. In case you dont know, the two of them are teammates. From what I saw the 911 got sidewides on his own making the 11 have no where to go. Hopefully the officials(and I use the term loosely) will review the tape(when its online) and apologize to Shawn. A nice apology online and next week at the race would be appropriate. | |

| Bagofchips...i agree with the 16 yo being an official is wrong....i said it from the first day i heard he swas going to be a flagman....i didnt think it was right with him working the corners either....but from what i can see he is the best at the towtrcuk....maybe they need ot get an adult to work the corners and put him in the towtruck and leave him there....lol | |

| I just hope this doesn't cause problems for the two team mates. S@*t happens right, I know I've been there shawn and it sucks. You'll get your win soon enough though and so will Mike. I just don't agree with the bashing of Brandon. He does a good job and he wasn't in the flagstand last night anyways. I think Brandon is one of the best officials out there and one of few that have any kind of P R skills. JMO Good luck Shawn with any kind of apology. lol | |

| This will not affect Team Beavis & Budracing... It was not our call.. I just think they need to make sure it was a true hit before sending someone to the back.. But it is all over and done with. Next week is another race.. I will see ya all at the track.. Who knows maybe another good run for that 1st place again... Yes that was a good Powder Puff Race... Congrats Nikki Sullivan | |
