Man, what a tough night of racing at PCS. First, the track was in piss poor shape. It is becoming very clear to me(and others) that a great deal of clay is needed to have any hopes of making that track safe for drivers. It is a damn miracle that not one car flipped tonight. I thank the LORD for that one. I have seen the tractor bring in what appears to be sand on the track in hopes of filling in the ruts. Shouldnt PCS get a clue that this is not working and bite the bullet and purchase some clay? Week after week drivers go to PCS(for whatever their individual reasons are) in hopes that things will improve. Well, it is becoming more and more clear to me that this just isnt going to happen any time soon and under the current management. I have heard many drivers say they want PCS to succeed its their home track but week after week I hear more saying they are tired of the unsafe and unfair practices at PCS and will find another hometrack. I sure hope things start to change at PCS and fast like. Next Friday was shaping up to be a nice family evening with possible high car counts due to other tracks not running. After tonight, I dont know if PCS will have any cars to race.

Clarance, You need to suck it up, put out the money, get some clay and do the track up the right way, the safe way. Our drivers deserve a safe track to race at!!! If you cant personally get the track in safe condition, then PLEASE hire somebody that can. You owe it to the racers, the ones that pay your bills!!

We all hope for things to get better especially the track condition. I have one ??? shorti, is the sand you're talking about, in the bucket of the small green John Deere? I wasn't there this week so I didn't see it. They always have had sand in the bucket of that tractor but they don't dump it on the track. They use it for weight on the tractor. I hope he hasn't put the sand on the track. More sand will really make the track worse. I just hope friday goes good. See you at the races

John I have recently heard the same thing you said the sand is used for but I have also heard from several people that sand is put on the track. Maybe on Saturdays they dont put sand on the track while people are there but who knows what they do with it during the week without eyes?

Who knows. Question Question I just remember back earlier this year there was talk about how they got new clay out there and dug out a bunch of the old stuff and had pics of the process. If they are putting the sand down on the track then it would explain a lot of the reason for the bad surface though. I just know I'm going back to DOT tires because I can't afford to tear up anymore hoosiers. No No No No No I guess we'll just have to see what goes on one way or the other but if something positive doesn't happen soon then there may not be many cars left. scratch scratch No No
