Mastersbuilt Super Late Model Empty
PostSubject: Mastersbuilt Super Late Model   Mastersbuilt Super Late Model EmptySun Jun 14, 2009 7:59 pm

Here is a Super Late Model Roller by Mastersbuilt. I'm not sure what year it is, but it was when they were using the stock Ford strut cross member so the chassis could run in some Limited Late classes. The frame rails are mandrel bent 2" X 2" all the way from the front bumper to rear bumper. I don't know the history of the chassis but it has no major damage or signs of major repairs. It has an aluminum mid plate and frame mounts for a SBC. The aluminum radiator is by AFCO with standard GM inlets and outlets. The power steering rack and servo are by Sweet and include all of the hoses and an aluminum tank. The upper and lower a-frames are tubular as well as the spindles and the struts and tie rods have aluminum tubes. The shocks are steel body AFCO and the springs are Hypercoils. It has a swinging dual master cylinder brake pedal set up with a remote brake adjuster and the Master Cylinders are by Wilwood. It has a hydraulic clutch pedal set up with a Wilwood master cylinder and a clutch line running back into the tunnel for a Bert or a Brinn style transmission. The calipers are Wilwood Superlites with 80 and 83 Performance Friction brake pads. The hubs are JFZ and have 1 1/4" directional vane rotors on the front and rear. The bearings have been packed with LE synthetic grease and have NEW seals with AFCO aluminum spindle nuts. The brake lines have been run and use bulkhead fittings to adapt the steel braided brake hoses. The Quick Change has just been gone thru with NEW seals and a NEW right rear axle tube. It is a Winters with a 4.86 ring and pinion with an aluminum Quick Trac carrier. The axles are Gun Drilled and the axle tubes are aluminum while the drive plates are also aluminum. It has aluminum tube AFCO rods on the four link and aluminum TWM birdcages. The J-bar is steel and uses an aluminum frame mount slider while the lift bar is also steel with an aluminum PRO shock/ AFCO spring combo. It has a 22 gallon fuel cell and the can is in excellent shape. It has a [2] gauge panel wired for warning and back lights and a recall tachometer. It also has a steel braided oil pressure line and a switch panel along with a [2] lever shifter. It has the standard tubing gas pedal with a toe pull up and carburetor linkage. The body is included and has NEW aluminum nose, door and quarter panels. The plastic front nose and fenders are by Five Star and includes a removable front bumper assembly. The wheels are 14" aluminum with beadlocks on the right side. The first $3000.00 buys it! Sorry, not interested in trades. Pictures available upon request.
