Mr.Bill said something to us tonight about welding a plate on the inside of the rim. Our thought was maybe run a racing rim on the right front. it will still be 6 inches wide but would have the strenght to keep tires on the cars.

something like that needs to be looked into before someone gets hurt...That rigth front goes through so much stress it is going to give sooner or later... I would be fine with doing something like that..whatever makes it safer..I saw atleast 3 cars brake rims tonight...

the only problem with a racing wheel is u cant get wheels for a lot of the lug patterns. maybe a aftermarket steel wheel?? but there goes the inexpensive racing.

I know in our "bomber" class (we called the hornets) back home they were allowed to weld a center section from another rim to help reinforce that right front. Seems like most of you already have a center section torn our of a rim.....lol....the only thing is i think you might need to get longer studs.
