| I ran out here during the off season and really liked the track. I ran North Florida last year, but want to run here this year. Im running a pure stock. But I just bought a new 500 Holley, and looking at the rules, it says that i can only run a stock-Quadra-Jet. Is this true? or is that just the biggest carb you can run, and we are also allowed to run the 500 Holleys?

Factory OEM stock 2 or 4 barrel Q-Jet side fuel line only, or 4412 500 cfm holley.-- thats north florida's rule on carbs for pure stock. the holley 4412 is " supposed to be legal to run in pure stock would like to know my self to come run there this weekend | |

| I understand that GM did not come factory with a Holley. I bought a STOCK 500 holley, and the post above mine was right, this is what turns cars away from this track. I have heard so much bad stuff about this track, but came out during the offseason to try it out, and i thank you guys have a great track. I know all the S&^t that has went on with the payouts and all that, but im still willing to come out and run a full season.
And i dont thank you can really compair your track to Ocala or VSP, they have a great car count. I thank you guys need to really look at that, and do all you can to get your car count up. To let the pure stock run a 500 is a disadvantage.
A STOCK 500 HOLLEY is the underdog, hell i can get a lot more power out of a Q-jet. I just prefer the Holley. And North Florida does allow you to run a 500 Holley.
I thank if your going to make the stand that it has to be factory, my 83 monte carlo came with a 305, but you made the rules to where we can run a 350 in it. I will be coming with at least 2 cars to start with, with 2 more on the way in a few weeks, we are finishing them up now. All of us really like your track, and would love to be part of makeing it work, but it would also be nice if you could look at this again. here are the rules for NFS
* CARBURETOR 1. Factory OEM stock 2 or 4 barrel Q-Jet side fuel line only, or 4412 500 cfm holley. 2. Options allowed, removal of choke butterfly and shaft, changing of jets and power valve, if using an adapter it must be a Mr, Gasket inexpensive adapter No other adapters allowed, No Holley, Mallory, or any big fuel pumps as this will be checked on a regular basis

| I think the track should change the carb rule so the NFS guys can come run with us. It can't hurt to let the pures run a 500. Rickyjr28 you should call the track and talk to them and ask them to ask the pure drivers what they think in the drivers meet. I'm cool with it. | |

| AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED THE 500 SHOULD BE aloud .but as far as the tire rule it should stand every buddy bitchs about tracks not standing behind there rules and here it is every one wants to run what they want and the hell with the rule book . yes there should be 2weeks to get your car to the rules if you come from another track to a point. but there has to be line drawn . or put them in another class. all winter long all i herd was the tracks need to get on the same page. pure stocks are suposed to be inexpensive dot tires you can go to a junk yard an get them for 20.00 r less .thats my 2 cent and idont care how mad everyone gets at me dont take it out on thetrack im just fead up with the bull | |

| I agree with jackrabbit on the carb and the tires and pretty much everything he said. Pure stocks are suppose to be inexpensive, if you have to run race tires whats next. Change the carb rule and leave the rest of it alone. If it gets any more expensive some of us will have to park our cars. | |
