Jennifer,

Binary is base 2, just like base 10 is decimal, which is our standard numerical system. Computers and electronics recognize binary, because binary can be expressed in ones (1) or a zeros (0) or the presence of a voltage and the absence of a voltage. It's also called boolean logic. True/False~Positive/Negative~1/0~ on/off ......all the same. Each character is called a "bit". Eight bits is a "byte".

Therefore, a.....b......c = 01100001...01100010...01100011

j = 01101010

Yeppers....well....sort of...

Actually, the color of a helmet,traveling the speed of light would be dependent on the relative speed of the person (or optics) observing the helmet. If, for example the person (or optics) observing the helmet were ALSO traveling the speed of light AND going in the same direction, then the helmet would maintain its original color. On the other hand, if the observer (or optics) were stationary OR traveling at any velocity in any direction other than the direction the helmet was traveling, then the color of the helmet would indeed appear to have changed, since color is solely dependent on the frequency in which it reflects light.

Of course all this would be mute if the helmet entered an atmosphere where the friction of the helmets surface and the passing atmospheric elements would create heat so intense it would melt the helmet like a marshmallow in a bonfire. affraid

awww.....I didn't cut you out of the picture. I took several shots of Tim, Kaden and you. Some you were all together and a few was just Tim and Kaden. I'm printing out and bringing ya'll an 8X10 fambily shot..... I just thought I'd give Tim a manly-man shot with his son.....it's a guy thang.....I'll make another with you in it.
