AM I READING THIS RIGHT......2500.00 TO WIN THUNDER STOCK RACE AND A 100 LAPS?

Yes it will be $2500 to win and 100 laps.. They will stop in the middle of the race so the cars can refuel,wash off,cool down or what ever they have to do..

IS THE MODS AND THUNDER STOCKS THE ONLY CLASSES RUNNING? AND WHEN CAN WE EXPECT A RULE BOOK?

Is it winner take all or is there a purse for the rest of the field and, if so, what might it look like?

There is a purse after what the winner gets.. Not sure on the full break down yet but both classes are getting paid.. I talked to him yesturday and he is getting the rules to me so I can get them up..

Is the entry fee for the thunder stocks or the mods or both and what will the price be at the gate and will there methanol avalible at the track

The entry fee are for both classes

Pre-Register by January 10th is $30

Day of race will be $40 for entry


I am not sure about the gas part..I will try and find out..

Is it 40$ to get in or 40$ plus another 20 or 25 to get in the gate?

That is for you and your car to get in to race..

So 40 gets driver and car in?

Is there an entry fee and pit fee or just the entry fee and is the 30 for the crew just going to be the pit fee that night or is he going to charge 30 every Saturday for pit

Please refer to the Pre-Entry fee on the flyer.. I beleive it is just prices for that night since it is a special big money race... Depending on when you pay that is for you and your car to get in the pits and race.. Same goes for the crew members..

How much will grandstands admission be? Will the concession stands, pit and grandstands, be up and running? Will electricity and water be available in the pits?

Waiting patiently for a response to my above questions. Also, is any advertising being done to promote these upcoming events other than on the Internet, i.e., radio, newspaper ad, flyers and I don't mean just Putnam county. Need to get the word out to St. Johns, Clay, Duval, Flagler, etc. I know it costs money to advertise but if money doesn't get spent on promotion then you won't make any money at the track.

I'm pretty sure I was told that theres an entry fee plus your fee to get in the pits that day.Either way thats pretty cheap for a $2500 to win race.Most races that pay that much usually have atleast a $100 entry fee.As far as the advertising it's being advertised in GA on the internet as well..So NO $40 doesn't get the driver and car in...

Where did you hear that from mike??I thought they said it was what the driver paid for the entry on the flyer got him and the car in the gates....I know they are going to have different prices to get in the grandstands on special event races.

A definite answer to the fees would be nice to know instead of opinions and stuff. Who is the promoter for the track? Is it the guy that took the lease doing both or whats up. We all understand that there is a lot to do out there but we also need to know what is going on for sure. I'm not trying to be an ass, but a lot of questions have been asked on here about the 22nd, rules, and so on but there really hasn't been any real answers other than rumor or things along those lines. We want to run the 22nd and the season opener but need to know what is going on for rules and such. I hope we start getting some real answers real soon so we know what to do and everything. I've heard so many different stories on things it's not funny, it would be nice to see the man in charge set the story straight. I hope everything goes well, we miss Putnam speedway so much and can't wait to get out there along with a lot of others.......

Whole Track should be up and running... To answer part of you question Bobby.. I have the other stuff on prices just waiting for and answer back to a question I have on them before posting everything to make sure it is all correct..
