2011 Rule Questions

DM8, Bud, whoever, forget my question to you on FloridaFlagstand. I looked there before I came here and saw you had spoken with the techman. We need to know what the definite rules are and not find out on the day of the race. I've paid my fees already and don't want to lose it showing up with incorrect tires. I'll be on street tires but need to know before the day of the event what size is allowed because I have to change a bunch of tires if we have to go with VSP rules since I ran there three times (my whole 2010 race schedule) except for Turkey Trot (maybe that would count as my home track). I'm so confused and starting to get irritated (takes a lot to do that). Please, people, get the rules for the special event set and soon!

THANKS RABBIT.....BUT YOU CAN'T COMPETE AGAINST RACE TIRES AND A 2 BARREL CARB. ME AND JOHN TALKED ABOUT THIS LAST NIGHT. IT'S LIKE NIGHT AND DAY TO A RACECAR. IF ANY OF THE NFS GUY'S CAN GET CLOSE THEN THEY HAVE IT IN THE BAG. THE ONLY WAY DOT'S WILL WORK IS IF THE TRACK WOULD BLACK OFF AND THE DIRT TIRES GO AWAY, THEN THE DOT'S WOULD HAVE A CHANCE. BUT I DON'T THINK THATS GONNA HAPPEN

HEY I HAVE AN IDEA, SINCE OCALA AND VSP RUN DOT'S WHY DON'T THEY PUT THE NFS CARS ON DOT'S TO???? THIS WOULD HELP LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD

I can tell you one thing.. They are not running NFS rules for the regular season.... It will most likey be off of Ocala rules

Thanks man I appreciate that a lot but like Bud said there is a big difference between D.O.T and Hoosier tires. I guess we'll just see what happens but if something isn't figured out really soon I'm just gonna go ahead and pull my motor out and do what I need to do to get it ready for the actual season and say the hell with the 22nd just like a few others already have because of the confusion and mess

Its none of my concern, but this bru haw is a prime example of why all the tracks need to run the same rules across the board, in ALL classes.
