| Florida and Ga are different in a lot of ways it seems. I hope they don't change a whole lot for the thunderstocks so we don't have to run out and spend a lot of extra money. I guess we'll see what happens | |

| i think everyone needs to quit,, this is florida tracks, and rules, i don't see any of the geogia tracks changing there rules so the florida guys can go and race, we change the car to the track we wish to travel too, if your car don't fall under the rules change it. if not stay home, there are a ton of florida thunder stocks out there, we don't need to change our rules around, let them make the change or stay home. | |

| Keith you are right. Then why is the track changing the rules to allow for headers and racing tires? If your going to leave them alone then don't make any changes. But if the rear end is the only issue, then it is foolish on the track not to allow a car to race for that one reason, based on changing the other rules. Can you see my point. I do see yours and understand. | |

| I agree they should have just left it alone. The race tires is understandable due to Lake city running them. Just leave well enough alone and go with it. | |

| Ok I have to put my two cents in over this Jan 22nd race... Seems to me from what I have read the rules the new owner has applied are just for that race. It also seems to me that there are some out there that dont like the rules for that race. It seems pretty easy to me, dont run that race if you dont like the rules...jmo I know most of you racers out there are having withdrawls but if you dont like or agree with things for the 22nd dont race, sit in the stands instead.... have a great day | |

| the biggest thing is the confusion. the flyer says one thing at the top and then another at the bottom....... We all understand it is only for the 22nd but still need to know what is going on. Also don't you think it is better to cater to the florida racers since we're the ones that will be supporting the track on a weekly basis...... makes sense to me | |

| the thing is most of the ga cars are from jacksonville area. and the rearend is not the only differance: holley 1850, headers, racing tires, but when i went to the turkey trot the so called ga cars werent any faster. | |

They should leave thunder stock rules alone. Putnam is changing them. I hope it is only for this one race.................... If it is they should allow 9" rearends since they made all the other changes for the big race.........A qudrajet carb is by a whole lot better carb than a 1850. Headers are a lot cheaper than stock exhaust and easirer to find. And the rearends are at lot safer. .........And the reason the Ga cars are not faster is because they are pretty much the same rules. ..And I would say 90% of Golden Isles and 65% of Waycroos cars are from Florida. Why spend all the money to run Florida street stocks. If that is the case, we can turn are cars into Super Streets and get paid a lot better. Again I hope they leave the thunder stock rules just as Volusia has them.

| The man told me today that the rules for the season will be the same as Ocala for Putnam. He also said it is going to be like the first flier said for the 22nd.... Volusia rules with optional race tires and headers | |

| All the Purestock/Thunderstock racers, Bring those cars and a rule book from your track if you have a copy, This is NOT!!! a Hobbystock/Streetstock race, and if the car was a Hobbystock/Streetstock and doesn't meet the Florida rules for the Thunderstock/Puestock classes, it better be by legal by one of the Florida tracks 2010 rule books, and the Georgia cars if, we get any, have to be legal by Florida Tracks, Thunderstock/Purestock rules, There will be No!!! 9 inch Ford rear ends allowed, UNLESS it came in that make model and year and it HAS to be a FORD CAR, Not an Early model chassis with a newer year body, There will be No!!! moving or shortening of lower control arms, there will be NO!!! shortening or altering of any chassis or part. The rules for this event and only this event have been made clear several times, the Tech man that will be at this event knows his job and is good at it. The ONLY exception in this event is, you may run headers, this event and this event only Bob the new owner put this race on for the Thunderstock/Purestock racers, and the winner will be a legal Thunderstock/Purestock car. The Numbers has been posted for Robert who is the tech man for this event. Any questions call him, he will be glad to answer any questions . Richard Tipton

| I just got off the phone with the owner of Putnam.. He said go by what the flyer says or what is on the Putnam Speedway website..It is Florida Track rules.. If anyone from Georgia wants to come and race then they need to follow the rules..
This is for this one Special Event only and not the rules for the 2011 season
I know there has been alot of things said, but this is what was from the owner
If it was not posted from here on the Putnam Website then don't listen to it..Contact me by message if you have any questions
